Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, continues to give players something new. The latest, Niantic presents a special program that involves the Pokemon Go player.
Niantic has just announced the launch of a new program that allows players to interact with the game in new ways. The new program is called the Niantic Wayfarer.
Niantic Wayfarer allows players to suggest real-world locations
For Portals, PokeStop and Gyms. The basic version of Niantic Wayfarer was originally built to allow Ingress players to nominate and review the Portal and further enhance their gameplay experience.
However, with Niantic Wayfarer, Pokemon Go players who qualify will be able to review the nominations of local points of interest such as museums, art installations, historical markers, and others. So they can be added to Niantic products.
According to Niantic, quoted from Phone Arena on Monday (10/14/2019), the new Wayfarer tool will be launched for Pokemon Go players who qualify at the end of the year. The program will be available for players on both the Android and iOS platforms.
Further details on how selected Pokemon Go players can interact with the program will be offered through the Niantic Wayfarer website after the feature launches begin at some point this year.
