Plants vs Zombies’ fans, rejoice! EA Games has confirmed the next installment of Plants vs Zombies game is under development.
PopCap Games, the maker of the Plants vs Zombies franchise, is working on the latest game iterations. The pre-alpha playable version of Plants vs Zombies 3 has been launched on the Google Play Store.
Players can download and try out the pre-alpha version of Plants vs Zombies 3!
Fans who are interested in trying out Plants vs Zombies 3 can register for pre-alpha. Altough EA warned that players need to anticipate moderate to high amount of bugs that are experienced during this early stage.

Quoting Ubergizmo on Saturday (07/20/2019), if the option to download is not available at first, try and check the page again later. Chances are you will get a chance to download it later. Currently, the Plants vs Zombies 3 is available for Android platform only, with possibly Apple following suit.
In addition, EA states that because Plants vs Zombies 3 is under development, pre-alpha builds should not be considered an accurate representation of the final version. This stage is available only to gather the feedbacks about the combat feature.

While EA hasn’t divulged much about the game, EA does promise that the full game will be free-to-play, though at this alpha version, microtransactions won’t be present.
“We still have lots in store for Plants vs Zombies 3” EA said.
So far there is no information about Plants vs. Zombies 3 release date. EA is likely to give more details in the future.
