Google Chrome Dark Mode Illustration

Android is testing a new feature on their flagship search app, Chrome. This feature is very useful when you want to read the page in the blackness conditions.

Reported by Lifehacker, Sunday, April 28th 2019. A feature named Dark Mode is currently installed on Chrome version 74 and above.

Users will be able to see their favorite pages more comfortably, mainly at night. Thanks to the changes in the color page. It can also help to increase the battery life.

Unfortunately, the new feature is just a trial, so users must take a few steps before they can enjoy them.

First, type chrome://flags in the Chrome search column. You will be taken to the settings menu. Then, type Android Chrome UI Dark Mode in the search column in that setting.

Click the menu listed in the search results, then change from default to enabled. Close and reopen the Chrome application. Enter the settings menu, select Dark Mode and activate the menu.

It should be noted, not all of the pages can be displayed in the perfect dark mode.
