Go-Food‘s management is optimistic that it can score millions of new jobs, following the trend of an increase in the number of merchant partners that by the end of 2018 had exceeded 400,000.
Catherine Hindra Sutjahyo, Chief Food Officer of GOJEK Group revealed, the increasing number of the app’s partners could not be separated from the legitimacy of merchants and users of services and services provided by the company.
“Go-Food’s MSME partners have an average 3.5-fold increase in turnover since they joined. It is not impossible – this growing business of merchant partners will create new jobs that are available to thousands and even millions of workers,” Catherine said.

In addition to services, Catherine said, the factor that also supports Go-Food to become the market leader in online food delivery services in Indonesia is based on the technology reliability used by Go-Biz.
Go-Biz is a special application for the app’s partners, formerly known as Go-Resto. Through Go-Biz, merchant partners can take advantage of superior features, such as recording income and expenses, utilising the Go-Pay e-wallet feature, managing menu availability, determining operating hours, viewing order list details and others.
“The security and comfort of merchant partners is our top priority. This importance is reflected in our ongoing efforts as we continuously try to develop a complete and comprehensive business management ecosystem, that can be easily managed independently by merchant partners through the Go-Biz application,” Catherine said.
The Go-Biz application itself is equipped with a PIN verification feature to ensure security for merchants. Almost all Go-Food merchant partners experience the benefits and effectiveness of this application in managing and improving their business.
Referring to LD FEB UI‘s research, 93% of merchants experienced an increase in transaction volume after they used a particular application for merchant management made by Go-Food. In addition to that, 92% of merchants who joined Go-Food also acknowledge that the Go-Biz application facilitates their business’ day-to-day.
While 87% of merchants who joined acknowledged the advanced Go-Food security technology, especially through guaranteeing transactions with PINs between restaurant partners and driver partners. The results of this research also conclude that 87% of merchants consider Go-Food services to be more secure and safer than other courier services.

For information, Go-Food currently has more than 400 thousand merchant partners, of which 96% are culinary MSMEs.
