The latest research done by the University of Indonesia shows that the technological aspects of Go-Food have a major impact on partner turnover in the culinary field. In addition to increased revenue, MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), or UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah), can also experience advancements in their business by partnering with the delivery service.
University of Indonesia’s Research Results on the Relationship Between Increased Turnover and Go-food
These research results were delivered by the Demographic Institute of the University of Indonesia Faculty of Economics and Business some time ago. Its Deputy Head – Paksi Walandouw – stated that the Go-food’s technological aspect was considered superior as to its competitors. This is why it nurtured the confidence and trust of the MSMEs towards the service.
“The increase of business turnover show that MSMEs who joined Go-Food experienced market expansion and advancements, such as from developing their businesses from one of micro-scale to small-scale, or from small-scale to medium-scale business,” Paksi stated through a written statement, Tuesday (23/4).
He said that with MSMEs growing in size and expanding their businesses, the business sectors around them would be able to absorb the benefits of their labor in regional and national economies.

Kevin Wen, owner of Piacevole Coffee in Medan, also benefited from the existence of Go-Food.
When approached at the Mitra Juara Gojek (roughly translates to Gojek Partner Champion) event, Kevin confessed that he was very pleased due to the fact that Gojek has helped many people who might have economic limitations. For instance, budget restrictions and collateral issues.
“Surely more people will be more willing in starting up a business ever since the creation of Gojek,” he says.
