Microsoft finally brought one of the most popular features used by applications around the world, namely dark mode. The good news is, this dark mode is available on both Android and iOS devices.
However, dark mode is not the only new change in the new major update. Many bug fixes have also been applied in this update.
Skype Dark Mode is just one of the new feature in this update
These improvements include the size and position of the size of the windows that are “remembered” by the OS in Split View, the ability to move and resize previews during video calls in Slip View and focus on the composer after opening a conversation in Split View.
As quoted by Phone Arena, Monday (9/23/2019), not only that, there are also indications of new messages in each window in Split View, minimized Windows that are restored when the conversation is activated from the last chat or call monitor of Split View windows, and Group notifications on Android.
Finally, Skype also adds options for schedule calls for groups. This new feature was previously available only on one on one chat. This way, you can select all group participants to set a scheduled call time.
New features are now being spread gradually over the next few days. So, be patient and hang tight if you haven’t seen the latest Skype updates!
