Google will likely add a special button to the Chrome browser. The buttons are designed to pause and play videos from any tab.
In the release of the Chrome version of the development version, a new feature called Global Media Controls appears After the feature is activated, the iconic play icon will appear right next to the URL if you have a video played on any tab.
How to pause and play button on chrome works
Launching Engadget, Tuesday (07/07/2019), by clicking on it, a bigger control will appear. Controls will allow users to pause, play, or skip forward / backward without actually leaving the video itself.
This new feature for Chrome can be very useful for stopping automatic playlists that interfere with or control YouTube videos when you switch to another tab. In addition, the feature is also predicted to get a good reception considering that Google recently removed the mute tab capability by clicking on the speaker icon.
The Global Media Control feature is considered more flexible, especially for fanatical YouTube audiences. That way, you no longer need to hunt for automatic playlist tabs.
However, the Global Media Control feature is still in the testing phase, but if Google decides to bring that pause and play button to the main browser, the feature will run smoothly.
