The signal for the return of Electronic Arts to Steam is getting stronger.
What games will EA bring to Steam? After yesterday it was discovered that their game Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was accidentally shown by Valve when showing off Steam’s new look.
Apparently this was followed by the presence of few other games. Such as, The Saboteur, which was only played by one person on Valve’s platform.
It is indicated that the company which is famous for its Need for Speed will indeed come back. Indeed, this can not be proven from the mouth of the EA itself, but finally today they strengthen the signal.
This is agreed with the tweet of the official Electronic Arts account that uploads a video of a cup of coffee with the EA logo emitting hot steam.
They did not say anything in the tweet other than the points. No, they don’t update videos like people on Instagram. But rather want to give a sign that they are likely to really return to Steam through coffee steam that appears from the cup.
This sign certainly invites a question of whether the possibility of Origin was not as successful as they thought until they finally returned to the Steam.
Or do they really want to connect Origin to Steam like Ubisoft’s uPlay? Then, what game will they present? Is it an old game or a new game?
Over the past few months, EA did not have a market kicker game. Battlefield V, which they changed in such a way that their business model could not have a very big influence like the third or fourth series.
But it seems that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will soon answer their concerns about the financial condition and popularity of the US-based company.
If they really come back to Steam with popular games or maybe promise a new game, maybe they will be able to make a big impact in the video game industry in late 2019 and early 2020.
We will know the meaning of the tweet after Electronic Arts are ready to announce it.
