Nevertheless, Microsoft clarified the uploaded video was a mistake. In the end, the giant software maker said there was no announcement regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake game.
Now it’s the turn of the Final Fantasy VII Remake developer, Square Enix provides clarification if the game won’t come to the Xbox One or other systems.
“As announced earlier, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020. We have no plans for other platforms,” the developer told IGN, quoted from IBTimes on Sunday (07/14/2019).
Square Enix’s statement did not explicitly mention that it would not bring Final Fantasy VII Remake to the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PC. But, the statement signaled the company had no plans to make a port for the system.
