Reaping the controversy due to violence and sensitive topics used as a joke, the Postal franchise holds a cult status among the PC gaming community, especially the second game. The third game was released in 2011 and it seems that fans are trying their best to forget the existence of the game.
8 Years no games, Postal 4: No Regerts suddenly announced by Running With Scissors for PC. Not just announced, an early access version has also been released on Steam.
This fourth game looks back to the formula they built in the second game and completely forgets the third game. Even the founder and CEO of Running With Scissors said that they deliberately released this fourth game in early access so they could get feedback from fans and did not produce a “rubbish” game like the third game.
Postal 4: The Gameplay
Postal 4: No Regerts will tell the story of Postal Dude who is trapped in the fictional city of Edensin. Players are assigned to make enough money within 5 days through various available missions. Money in the game can be obtained without violence at all, but of course, the fun of this game comes from the chaos that you can do to the people of the city. Unlike the previous game, Postal 4 will now be voiced by John St. John – voice actor from Duke Nukem. Postal 4: No Regerts are now available on Steam via early access. It is not yet planned when the full version will be released.
