After the success of the mobile version of the PUBG and Call of Duty games released a few months ago, the Lightspeed & Quantum studio under the auspices of the giant game company from China, Tencent, was ready to release its newest game. The game which is planned to have a survival genre with zombie theme has the title “Code: Live” and has officially opened its official website which contains various information and trailers from games that previously had codename “Vitality”.
This game, which was developed with Unreal Engine 4, has been developed for 2 years by Lightspeed & Quantum. Viewed from the trailer itself this game will feature survival gameplay, where you have to survive with other players, by gathering various resources and building shelters, while avoiding zombies attacks that can be occurred at any time. Like other survival games, this game will also have elements of leveling, grinding, and crafting, as well as various other interesting activities such as fishing, hunting, and building houses with other players.
You could say Tencent’s step to immediately release the Code: Live itself is an answer for its main competitor, NetEase, which previously also released a game with a similar genre titled “LifeAfter”. Let’s observe whether the later Code: Live will be able to compete with LifeAfter who both carry survival zombies theme.
