Nintendo announced the presence of the Switch new model. On the latest Nintendo console promises battery life that is longer than before.
Launching the IGN on Friday (7/19/2019), the Switch new model is said to offer around 4.5 to nine hours of battery life. While the Switch console currently only offers a battery life of 2.5-6.5 hours.
However, Nintendo provides a small note if the battery life depends on the game being played. For example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which can run for up to three hours on the current Switch and 5.5 hours on an updated console.
Reported by The Verge, the Nintendo Switch product page does not reveal exactly how the company can achieve a better battery life. Better battery attainment is likely to be achieved thanks to a new system-on-chip and updated memory in it.
The FCC list recently revealed Nintendo plans to renew the Switch with new CPUs and storage. The new model, dubbed HAC-001 (-01), immediately appeared in the store.
You have to make sure the serial number starts with XKW to get a model with better battery life. The presence of the new Switch model is not long ago from the Lite version.
Switch Lite is designed for smaller handheld play. Switch Lite carries a 5.5-inch touch screen and a battery life of between three and seven hours.
