According to research records from renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, quoted by IBTimes, Wednesday (06/19/2019), Apple plans to release three new iPhone models in 2020. Records obtained by Mac Rumors are in line with previous reports from DigiTimes.
In his notes, Kuo wrote that two iPhone 2020 will be high-end devices that display 5G connectivity. Both will be present in new sizes that are believed to be able to attract many consumers.
Today, high-end iPhones (iPhone XS and XS Max) come with screen sizes of 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches. Based on Kuo’s records, the successor of the iPhone XS will feature a 5.4-inch screen, smaller than the iPhone X.
On the other hand, Kuo said the larger high-end iPhone will come with a 6.7-inch screen, slightly wider than the iPhone XS Max. The new screen size is rated right for Max’s description because this is the largest iOS device not called the iPad.
Unlike the high-end models that carry 5G connectivity, the cheap iPhone version will support 4G networks. The iPhone 4G will come with a 6.1-inch screen, just like the size found on the iPhone XR.
Apple is reported to be launching the 5G iPhone on all models in 2021. In that year, the 5G network was supposed to be more even than today.
