Instagram Deletes Rule Violator Belle Delphine’s Account
Instagram Deletes Belle Delphine’s Account in Response to Rule Violations – Instagram announces policy changes related to blocking user accounts that violate the rules of their social media.
Based on written information received by KompasTekno on Friday (7/19/2019), Instagram will now give a stern warning for account owners who repeatedly commit violations before their account is finally deleted.
“If you post something that violates the rules again, your account along with all your posts, archives, messages and followers will be deleted.”
Under the warning there is a list of violations that a user might potentially committed, such as uploading content with hate speech, abuse, or sexual content.
Instagram will deactivate user accounts that violate the provisions of the “certain percentage” or “certain period”. The details on how many percentage or how long a certain period are omitted.
Instagram Deletes Hundreds of Accounts that Violates the Community Guidelines, Including Belle’s
Unfortunately for Belle, it seems that her account has exceeded the violation percentage and in response to a report from an instagram user, athlete_thedog, her account was deleted.
Belle Delphine is a cosplayer and self-professed ‘gamer girl’ that posts provocative cosplay photos as well as selling various merchandise at her online store, her most recent best seller was her bath water.
While Delphine’s Instagram account was full of sensual photos, which were posted to promote her Patreon page, her photos reportedly never showed any actual nudity. It seems, however, the material was sensitive enough to breach Instagram’s guidelines, resulting in deletion of her account.
The opportunity for appeal applies to content or accounts that is deleted because it is thought to contain elements of nudity and pornography, abuse and harassment, utterances of hatred, drug sales, and terrorism.
It is unknown whether Belle’s ban is temporary or permanent. If it’s the latter, she may be able to appeal the decision and regain access to her account – and connect back to her 4.5 million followers.
