iPhone Users eager to update their iOS in this three weeks
The first week after release, iOS 13 contains many bugs that harm the user. However, this does not actually have a significant impact on user adoption.
According to Apple, after three weeks, to be exact 26 days, since iOS 13 was rolled out, 50 percent of iPhone users have updated their devices. Unfortunately, that number is actually not too much.
Citing the Verge page, Thursday (10/17/2019), if counted, the number of iPhones purchased in the last four years has jumped to 55 percent. Apart from that, the figures presented by Apple are far better than the latest Android update and adoption.
Apple checks based on iOS on the iPhone that accesses the Apple Store. There it was explained, iOS 12 is used by 41 percent of devices. Other, only 9 percent use older iOS.
For devices that are 4 years old or newer, 38 percent run iOS 12 and only 7 percent run older iOS.
While for iPadOS, the number is much lower, namely 33 percent of the existing iPad users a new OS (iPadOS). Then, 41 percent more iPad uses the old iPadOS.
