Nokia is a well-known gadget company who offer the environment-friendly concept. Apparently, HMD Global which owned its brand now would likely continue the step of their predecessor. Now, HMD publish a public announcement through their official website.
They officially created a page titled “Environment Profiles” which allowed the Nokia handset users to know several details about the materials used on their very own devices. It contains information about substances contained in a handset or the recycle percentage on every packaging.
The most interesting thing is the users can also discover about the Nokia devices series displayed, such as features of Nokia 3310 and Nokia 8110 which was refreshed until the release of Nokia 5.1. But the device shown in this section is not completed yet since this company had created so many handsets from one year to another.
If we observe carefully, every registered smartphones are free from the usage of PVC and other dangerous substances, such as nickel and bromine. HMD also claimed that 60% box or the packages they use were made by recycle-able materials.
HMD explain that the devices registered in “Environment Profiles” section is more likely functioning efficiently in charging speed and attached battery. It also works well for the screen usage which can automatically adjust its brightness.
This program made by HMD could possibly affect other smartphone companies to use proactive approach which associated with the environment-safety. It can also be an attractive marketing method for the gadget users.
