Samsung Electronics Indonesia officially released the latest Galaxy M series, the Galaxy M30s.
Besides being equipped with a large battery capacity of 6,000 mAh, this smartphone is also equipped with triple cameras.
“The users now also need a capable camera. Both for creating the content, working, and capturing moments. That way, the Galaxy M30s comes with triple cameras and 48 MP main camera sensor,” said by the Samsung Electronics Indonesia’s Product Marketing Manager, Irfan Rinaldi. Still, Irfan explained that the Galaxy M30s equipped with a 48 MP main camera with an f / 2.0 lens opening. Yet, the users can also take benefit of the ultra-wide lenses that can reach up to 123 degrees with an 8MP camera sensor and f / 2.2 lens opening.
“As for the artistic bokeh effect, the users can use depth lenses with a 5MP sensor and f / 2.2 opening aperture,” continued by him. Not only that, the Galaxy M30s is also equipped with a 16 MP sensor front camera.
Tempo had the opportunity to try out the triple camera carried by this phone. When entering the camera feature, the users are presented with various choices of photo modes (either with the main lens or ultra-wide). Then, there are food modes, pro, panorama, live focus, until night.
If you want to get max photos, you need to enter the default mode, which is the main lens photo with a ratio of 3: 4. Meanwhile, to get the results of the bokeh, you only need to select the live focus mode and set the blur distance of the object in the photo. Whereas for capturing the panoramas it is advised to enter the photo mode with an ultra-wide lens.
The camera features of the phone are up by the presence of a scene optimizer that is able to categorize the object that is photographed. Both as a category of scenery, photos, or so on.
“Scene optimizer is like Samsung’s AI camera. It will adjust the most optimal settings suit to its category. For example, we are photographing sunset, well, this scene optimizer will help play its HDR so that the composition between the sun and sky is balanced,” said by Irfan.
Besides the scene optimizer, it is also equipped with a flaw detector feature that is able to detect errors that may occur in the results of the photo.
“Flaw detector can also detect whether our camera lens is dirty or not. Besides, it can also provide a warning when the blurry results, he will advise us to take photos again,” said by him.
With a 48MP main camera sensor, the Galaxy M30s already supports recording formats up to 4K (2160p). In terms of video, the users are also presented with a few choices of the photo modes. Including video, hyper-lapse, to super slow motions. Video capture using the Galaxy M30s, said Irfan, will be more stable thanks to the super steady feature.
The Galaxy M30s is armed by Exynos 9611 10nm chipset, operating Android 9, and a 6000 mAh battery capacity. Besides, the 6.4 inch AMOLED super screen with FHD + resolution is also added in the screen of this phone.
