Microsoft has made a lot of progress in browser developing by launching Edge bundled in Windows 10. Then, Microsoft planned to expand its availability to macOS.
It seems like Microsoft is planning to expand its Edge user base. In its latest blog, Microsoft confirms that it will bring Edge to MacOS computers in the near future.
Microsoft Edge browser on macOS
“If you’re not using Windows 10, don’t worry. We are looking forward to sharing it with MacOS and earlier Windows versions, “said Microsoft on its blog.
Unfortunately, Microsoft did not mention when the Edge browser will be released for MacOS. But, Edge on Apple can be an alternative for those who don’t like Safari and Chrome.
Launching at Ubergizmo on Thursday (05/09/2019), Edge browser will be available for other Apple platforms, such as iOS. Edge can be downloaded for free in the Apps Store.
Apart from that, Microsoft has made some major changes to its browser Edge, where the software company will switch to the Google Chromium platform.
Switching to Chromium, Google believes they will be able to solve some compatibility issues and make the user experience more unified experiences. But apparently not everyone is happy with the steps taken by Microsoft.
