There is no more Esgares Empire in Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia certainly brings back memories for old fans who missed the Lance story against the Esgares Empire and wanting to know more about the latest game. But it looks like the franchise that was worked on by ATLUS will have a new story that has nothing to do with Forsena anymore.
In the two latest trailers, Happinet introduces two factions of the kingdom that will appear in the game. They are the Norzaleo Kingdom and the Republic of Guimoule. The trailer is also accompanied by a theme song of each kingdom which is quite epic.
Norzaleo itself is a kingdom founded by Adessa. A kingdom that believes that hard work and a strong sense of justice will bring them to continue to prosper. He was led by a king named Rubino who succeeded his father, Rubino III. Norzaleo’s relationship with the neighboring kingdom, the Holy Gustava Empire, seems to have not gone well thanks to the conflict between the two.
The Republic of Guimoule was founded by Mohana Carradine, a country that claims that they are the origin of the Rune Knight or hero in the game. The dispute that occurred between Sect Mohana and the Theocracy of Zai from Mana Saleesia for 30 years will be the stage for a new story in the game. Republic Guimoule is led by Eliza Uzala, daughter of the 15th President of her country, Alden Uzala who is now lying and unable to lead the country. He was chosen by the Sword of Ange to lead and protect Guimoule from all the distress that came.
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia will present six countries in the world called the Continent of Runersia. They are currently in a war for the sake of uniting all of them. Like the previous series, you will be able to control one country and make an army of rune knights to fight against another kingdom. There are more than 40 locations, 50 types of monsters, and more than 100 rune knights that you will encounter in the game. The game will be released in Japan and the west in 2020 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
