Juvia and Gajeel will be able to play in Fairy Tail RPG

Since its announcement a month ago to become a JRPG adaptation, Koei Tecmo as the licensee plans to make it a turn-based game like JRPG in general, inversely proportional to the game they have published in the past. Now, they describe the characters you can play besides Natsu and Lucy. One of them is Juvia and Gajeel.

Through the weekly magazine Famitsu, Koei Tecmo explains that the beautiful but perverted Juvia Lockser (voice: Nakahara Mai) and Gajeel Redfox (voice: Hatano Wataru) will be able to be played at Fairy Tail. They will have the exact same abilities in the anime/manga. Starting from Gajeel’s iron dragon magic and Juvia’s water magic. Complete with their respective ultimate moves.

In addition, some scenes from the anime/manga will also be enjoyed here. From the battle against Master Hades of Grimoire Heart and the battle between Erza and Kagura Mikazuchi, the strongest magician of Mermaid Heel. Large iconic events like Daimatou Enbu or Grand Magic Games can also be enjoyed here. Everything will be filled with the exact same sound as in the anime.

Battle-style Fairy Tail is not the only element that can be enjoyed. Some quests that make the guild concept in the game will also be able to run. You can go to the request board to run several quests with various levels of difficulty. Completing the quest will increase your guild’s rank. Which initially from the bottom to increase little by little. The higher your guild’s rank, the more difficult the quest to run.

You can also increase your bond or relationship with several other characters through sub-episodes. Unfortunately, it isn’t clear what happens after your relationship parameters will increase. Could you possibly pair Natsu with Lucy? Or maybe Natsu with Erza?

Fairy Tail is planned to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in 2020. There is no clarity from Koei Tecmo on the exact release date.
