Finally, good news for fans of the Monster Hunter World game on Steam who are currently struggling hard to avoid the spoilers from the Iceborne expansion. As an expansion that is currently in the middle of being officially aired on the console platform, your waiting to remain faithful waiting for it seems to be starting to pay off at around the beginning of the new year.
Capcom has just released the inaugural Iceborne trailer aimed specifically at gamers on the PC platform. As you have seen in the trailer thumbnail, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Steam version has officially set January 9, 2020, as the exact release date.
In the trailer, Capcom also shares a number of optimizations that you can feel when you play this expansion. Namely starting from Ultra-widescreen display support, Hi-res texture that will be available optionally at the time of release, unlimited frame rates, to Directx 12 support.
In addition, they also officially opened the pre-order price which will be present directly in two versions, namely Deluxe, and non-Deluxe. For the cheaper version, you only need to spend as much as Rp. 446,000. That also includes the bonus “Yukumo Layered Armor” which you can later use.
The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Trailer also happens to be showing the presence of a Rajang monster. For the PC version, Capcom itself has confirmed that the “Monkey” monster will not be present immediately upon release. its existence would later be included as an update in February, together with a costume update with the theme of Resident Evil.
Then there is also a new monster update that according to Alert PCgamer is ready to add Capcom in March for PC players. So that seems to imply that Capcom is now looking to shorten the release distance of Iceborne content in the console and Steam versions for the upcoming update.
