RAN: Lost Island will invite you into a mix of every game element exist
Some of you must be overwhelmed by the Battle Royale term. The genre that was popularized by PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and continued by Fortnite until Call of Duty Black Ops 4 – Blackout was indeed popular in its time. But with an extremely crowded market, it seems impossible to release more games in this genre, especially after battle royale flood many platforms both mobile to PC.
But this does not seem to apply to Chinese developers. The genre is still loved in China for one of its developers to make RAN: Lost Island.
As explained earlier, RAN: Lost Island is a new battle royale game from the China Hero Project made by Jolly Roger Game funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment China. This game published by Zodiac Interactive combines elements of RPG and Adventure with a 100 player battle royale. Give you the chance to replace one of the 9 classes in three factions: European Empire, Ming Dynasty, and Japanese Shogunate.
Unlike other similar genres, you will play the role of a treasure hunter outcast looking for legendary artifacts stored in remote islands. Slaughtering everything that gets in your way (other players) will be the main task of your adventure.
Gun battle is not the only battle that can be enjoyed. Sail the sea, destroy your enemies with cannons, fight using melee weapons, so that fierce battles underwater can also be played. Not only that, finding artifacts with supernatural powers will help you defeat many players who are blocking you.
According to the concept where you are a treasure hunter, you are required to collect several clues in certain places such as temples, caves, to urban areas. Some ancient and sacred artifacts are also stored in shipwrecks. Not only players, but you will also fight some creatures and other inhabitants of the island. Including sea monsters. But remember, being greedy and being the most treasure collector in one match will get you marked and informed to other players. For you hunted by all players who thirst for treasure.
Your threat is not limited to other players, residents, and native creatures of the island. But also natural disasters such as tsunamis and tornadoes. For you not only have to be aware of the surroundings but also natural tantrums that appear unexpectedly.
RAN: Lost Island is planned to be released on PC via Steam Early Access later this year. It will also be released to PlayStation 4 on an undetermined date.
