The first Monster Rancher game, which used to be on PS1 and NDS, will appear again. But its current platform is still unclear.
The name Monster Rancher is well known to veteran gamers who have struggled with the first PlayStation console or Nintendo DS in their childhood. This game was very popular at that time thanks to the unique gameplay that managed to provide beautiful memories for players who have grown up today. Over time and generations have changed, this game’s franchise is not much to know, especially among young gamers.
Even so, Koei Tecmo did not want it to disappear. After creating a Twitter account on behalf of @MonsterFarm_KT a few months ago, they finally tweeted that the game, named “Monster Farm” in Japan, will be re-released, of course for current platforms.
It is not yet mentioned which platform they will partner with, but Monster Rancher will be released in the ‘port’ version, not a remake or remastered. In addition, there is the word ‘Haisin’ which is often used by Japanese publishers to indicate the game is in digital form.
From here, we can analyze that the new Monster Rancher will not change much from the original version and only release in digital form – which is most likely a mobile platform.
So, what do you think about this new Monster Rancher? Are you interested to try it?
