Google Maps has now become a navigation tool that is often used by people around the world. The company is launching a new feature that will make it easier for users to report incidents experienced on the road such as accidents, or traffic jams.
Earlier this year, Google introduced this feature to Android users, and this will be the first for iPhone users, as quoted by the Cnet page.

Google will also add a feature to report four types of new incidents on the iPhone and Android such as construction work, road closures, problematic vehicles, and objects that fall on the road.
Google will receive reports and use that information, then combine it with traffic speed and other data to determine where the incident occurred in real-time.
Don’t Forget to Update Your App to Use The Report Feature!
However, before you enjoy this new feature from Google, you must first make an update to Google Maps. Reporting traffic incidents is one of many additional improvements that Google has made to the Google Maps application over the past few months.
This month, Google made an update to the application to add extra detailed voice guidance to properly support the needs of the blind.
