This app will connect them to sighted volunteers and company’s representatives from around the world via a live video call. The volunteers will be their eyes and assist them in what they need like checking expiration dates of certain products, reading instructions or navigating new surroundings.
Currently Be My Eyes has over than 2 millions of volunteers joining the community; they speak in more than 180 languages. Not to mention, they provide a translating site for the users to make it more accessible for foreign users whose language has not yet been established in the app.
